Organizing and making Travel Arrangements
While we realize that travelers plan and make arrangements for their vacations according to personal preferences, we would like to assist you to plan and reserve your vacation
with us in the simplest manner possible. So we suggest the following :
1)To Check for Space Availability and to Plan your
Vacation including your daily activities
Discuss with the other members of your group to decide on such issues as;
a) Type & number of rooms required (standard or de-luxe Royal Mayan Palapa)
Both type of rooms can accomodate up to4 guests if you have small children
b)Decide what package(number of nights/days of activity required) c)If you are engaging in several activities, then specify the number of days that
each guest wants to participate for each of the activities
(Diving, Snorkeling, Kayaking, Fishing, Whale Watching, Cave Painting Tours)
Not required but helpfull, please list the dates for each of the activities involved d) List of equipment needed to rent if participating in Scuba Diving or Snorkeling
(wet-suit, fins, mask, snorkel, boots, BCD, regulator with gauges) e) Decide on Arrival and Departure Dates
Check space availability please Send us an Email with your intended dates for travel,.
We recomend checking for different dates, just in case there is no space available
with the airline for the specific date that you wish to travel. Then, decide on what
type of vacation package you wish to reserve. If you intend on participating
in several activities, please decide on the number of days for each activity, and then check for the total price of your vacation in the Rates & Packages page 2)To Book a Flight
For Daily Scheduled Flights to Loreto
Call the airline to check and reserve your INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT. The ONLY International scheduled flight available to Loreto is offered by
Aero-California which is located in El Segundo(by Los Angeles international airport) and their: toll free number is 1-800-237-6225. The flight leaves Los
Angeles at 11:30AM daily and they require that you check in 1:15 minutes prior
to the flight. If your flight originates in a different city or country, and you intend to
arrive at Los Angeles the morning of your connecting flight to Loreto, you should
choose a flight that arrives at Los Angeles airport no later than 10:00AM, to have sufficient time to make your way to the international terminal.
For Charter Flights To Loreto Different times of the year there are charter flights available from Las Vegas,
Denver, Vancouver BC, Toronto Canada, which fly twice a week, directly into
Loreto However, our experience has shown that these charter flighs are not
consistant and very reliable. (We have had several groups which could not arrive
in Loreto as scheduled because the charter operator had cancelled their flights a
week prior to their arrival, due to lack of sufficient passengers, and that always
creates unhappy travelers-- for losing their vacation.) However, we are including the charter companies contact information because when the service is available it makes a world of difference.
For Scheduled Flights to La Paz and Cabo San Lucas
There are several daily international flights available which all originate in the
U.S. and Canada destined to La Paz and Cabo San Lucas international airports.
Should you choose to fly into these airports, you have 2 options available for transportation to Loreto. The first is to rent a car which would enable you to
see a beautiful and magical part of the Baja Peninsula, stopping along
the way for photo opportunities, and to admire the view of the cliffs overlooking the Sea of Cortez. The second choice would be to take a bus from Cabo San
Lucas to Loreto ($30 U.S.one way). The driving time by car from Cabo San
Lucas airport to Loreto is about 5 1/2 hours, and from La Paz airport to Loreto is 3 1/2 hours.
To avoid confusion and help you understand, most tourists that have never been
to Baja, think the Cabo San Lucas International airport is located in Cabo San
Lucas. Be aware that there is no airport in Cabo San Lucas, the actual airport is located in San Jose del Cabo, 20 miles from Cabo.
